Every year in India, November 14 is celebrated as Children’s Day to mark the birth anniversary of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, the first Prime Minister of our country.
14 November 2022, Children’s day was celebrated in MBIIS. A special assembly was conducted by the teachers.
Ms Birendra Rawat anchored the special assembly.
Instead of the school choir, the teachers sang for the students.Ms Akshita came up with a beautiful thought of the day. Dr Anantmani Trivedi chanted Sanskrit shloka while the children happily repeated after him.Dr.Babita Gupta came up with her hilarious news which included both national and International news.Mr Vipin Kumar mimicked celebrities and students thoroughly enjoyed.Ms Sumana Ghosh sang a devotional song and students too joined .Principal Dr.Geeta Shukla,in her speech told the students the importance of laughter in the well being of every individual and how we should indulge in laughter to stay healthy.
Students from PG to XII were allotted separate time slots to play games of their choice using the coupons they had been given.They played various games like tombola, find the coin, table tennis, flip the bottle, musical chairs, hit the glasses , and much more. The winners were given treats which included frooti, ice cream, biscuits, and chocolates. Every student was treated with ice-cream,frooti and biscuits before they left for their homes.
The students enjoyed the day thoroughly and took back beautiful memories of celebration along with them.
