On 7th October 2023, Class XI Commerce students from MBIIS undertook a industrial study tour to Geetanjali Super Food Factory, Lal Tapper. Group was led by Business Studies teacher Ms Arti Raturi and Mr Ankit, faculty from the school to maximise the practical aspects of learning.
The students were surprised by the vastness of processing area moment they stepped inside the complex. Industrial assembly line and machines transforming basic ingredients into packaged goods provided an amazing exposure to the students. Awe-struck students witnessed the intricate processes as they unfolded before them.
Mrs Kanta ( Marketing Manager) and Mr Amit ( Production Manager ) along with other employees from the factory provided a patient insight and exposure to the group. Significance of quality control, maintenance of hygiene standards and safety procedures were emphasised upon. The students benefited immensely from the interactive sessions with the staff and workers at the factory.
The students appreciated the packaged food items for their return journey after bring provided a unique learning experience.
This tour, surely ignited their inquistiveness about the world of industrial production, warehousing and allied business activities.
