On 19th December 2022, Manava Bharati India International School conducted Battle of the Bands for the students of class 5, 6, 7 and 8. The judges for the event were Mrs Arti Raturi and Ms. Rashi Sain.
Names were given to each group like melody, harmony, medley and many other. The competition took place among different sections and classes.
The first competition was between: 5A, 5B, 6A, 6B. For which class 6B secured the first position.
Team Members of the band were class teacher Mrs Ankita Mishra, students Naman Bhandari( Bucket Drums), Abhinav Mamgain (Synthesizer), Swastik Kala(Congo), Abhyudaya Singh Dutta (Beat Boxing). On Vocals- Ekta Prasad Pal, Divya Negi, Divya Chauhan, Riddhima Dhaundiyal, Navika Chauhan, Shreya Choudhary, Ankur Bhatt, Ananya Kaushal.
Followed by 5B in Second position.
Class Teacher: Miss Salon’ Narula
Leah(Bucket Drums), Khushi, Ikra, Riddhima, Avantika, Anika, Vaishnavi, Shreeram(Bucket Drums), Arush(Bucket Drums), Md.Adeeb(Congo), Akarsh(Shaker).
Competition was also held between 7A, 7B, 8A, 8B.
In this category class 8B secured the first position.

Followed by 8A in second position.

Melodies were heard all around the school campus. Each and every individual who became the part of the event enjoyed to its fullest. The students participated with full enthusiasm and energy. Different songs were sung by the students which took the individuals to the memory lane. The Swar, Taal, Coordination and Presentation of the students was being focused by the judges.
The event came out to be a success for the students as well as the teachers.
