ManavaBharati India International School commemorated the Founder’s Day today.
A “Sarva Dharma Prarthna” was conducted at the school auditorium in fond remembrance of Dr. D. P. Pandey. It began with the lighting of the lamp by Director Dr. Himanshu Shekhar, Principal Dr. Geeta Shukla and Vice-Principal Mr. Ajay Gupta. The programme was anchored by Dr. Anantmani Trivedi, faculty (Sanskrit). A “Sarva Dharma Prarthna” was presented by Ms. Tanisha Panwar, faculty (Music).
Next, Ms. Pushpa Bisht (faculty) reminisced about Dr. D. P. Pandey highlighting some unknown facets of his personality. She told how his thoughts and ideas are inspiring even for the present generation. After this, Director Dr. Himanshu Shekhar spoke of Dr. D. P. Pandey through which we came to know how he gave equal importance to all religions and how he contributed in the character building of the students thereby aiding in nation building. He said that today,it is imperative to walk on the path shown by him to become able educators of the future.
Later,”Sarva Bhavantu Sukhinah” shloka was recited.
All the teachers and staff of Manava Bharati paid homage to Dr.Pandey.
