A poetry recitation competition was organised on 3rd August 2023 at Manava Bharati India International school for the students of classes I to VIII. The theme of the competition was ‘Nature’ and children recited beautiful poems appreciating the beauty of nature. Poetry is the core of literature and also one of the important and effective modes of learning a language.It not only builds self confidence but also develops the oratory skills of a child.Taking all these facts into consideration the children were given an opportunity to exhibit their talent and confidence. The competition inspired the children to come forward and recite on stage. The children came up with different poems and recited them with great zeal and enthusiasm and enthralled the audience with their powerful performances. The judges appreciated and applauded the performances of these young poets.
