All the schools were asked to contribute to the idea ” Ek Tareek, Ek Ghantaa” to spread the message of cleanliness in the society.

For the event, all the teachers and senior students gathered in the school premise on the Sunday morning of 1st October and were all set to do “Shramdan” .

As per the instructions, of the Ministry of Jal Shakti and the Ministry of Education,

everyone briefly discussed the motto of the drive – “Swachanjali” and how their contribution to the cause will not only make the society cleaner but also make them a responsible citizen of the nation.

Then, the procession, led by the Manava Bharati family proceeded towards an unclean park of the locality and actively made efforts to clean it. Two big bags of garbage were collected from the park and disposed of in the municipal corporation bins.

It was a day to learn an important value of life which was also one of Gandhi ji’s visions.

The event was successful as well as a real tribute to Gandhi ji and his ideologies on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti.
