Today, students of Manava Bharati India International School had organized a cultural programme to express their gratitude to their teachers.
First, a short cultural event was held in the morning assembly which included a speech by Head Boy Praman Negi and then dance and song performances by our students from classes 2nd, 5th and 11th. The programme was thoroughly enjoyed by all the students and teachers alike. Principal Dr. Geeta Shukla thanked the students for putting up this wonderful show.
In the afternoon, a special programme was held at the school auditorium.
The programme started at 1:00 pm with a short speech by Director Dr. Himanshu Shekhar. Then there was the lighting of the lamp by Director Dr. Himanshu Shekhar, Principal Dr. Geeta Shukla and Vice-Principal Mr. Ajay Gupta and Coordinators Ms Jennifer Paffet and Ms Arti Raturi with Saraswati Vandana recited by Riddhi Soni of 5th B.
Next, cutting of cake was done with full zeal and enthusiasm with Principal and all the teachers on the stage.
A welcome dance was then performed by Aradhana of 11thA Science to the tunes of Gurur Brahma, Gurur Vishnu.
Then came Vedansh Verma of 12th Arts and Priyanshu of 9th B with their dance performance. Kashish Panwar and Diya Panwar of 11thB Science then entertained the audience with their dance. Next was the song performance by Raghav of class 12thCommerce.Next came Megha Parihar of class 12thArts with her group to perform a garhwali dance. Then Swati of 12th Commerce came up to the stage to confer titles on the teachers. The teachers performed a ramp walk on the stage flaunting their colourful attires. Students cheered the teachers which boosted up their spirit further. This was followed by a solo song by Deepika of 11th B Science.
A magnificent dance was performed by Prachi Rawat of class 10th and her group. Another enthralling dance was performed by Swati Rana of class 12th Commerce and her group. Ms Rashi Sain (faculty) presented the song Pasoori beautifully in her melodious voice. A dance was then performed by Harshita of 12th Science with her group. Next was the dance by Karishma of 12th Arts and her group.
The Management presented gifts to all staff members as a token of appreciation which was then followed by lunch.
