On 28 April 2022, The Director of Manava Bharati Society Dr. Himanshu Shekhar received an award from the Chief Minister of Uttarakhand Shri Pushkar Singh Dhami for his selfless work in the field of education for 32 years and for supporting families and establishing homes during the Uttarakhand devastation caused in 2013 in collaboration with GAIL India Private Limited.
The event was 75th year celebration of country’s leading newspaper Amar Ujala. On this occasion 32 personalities were felicitated for their contribution in various fields along with Padma Vibhushan awardee Shri Chandi Prasad Bhatt, an environmentalist, Shri Sanjeev Chopra Director of LBSNAA, Shri Anoop Nautiyal an activist, Director of IIT Roorkee Professor Ajit Kumar Chaturvedi and many others.
