Diwali Mela Report
Today, on 21 October, 2022, Manava Bharati India International School had organised a Diwali Mela. It was a day full of fun and frolic as the students from PG to XII came to school at 8:30am. The timing for students of PG to class II was 8:30am to 11am and for class III to XII was 8:30am to 1:00pm. The mela consisted of a variety of food stalls and games stalls. The students literally rushed from one stall to another to taste every food item and play every type of game.
The food stalls consisted of Golgappa, Spring rolls, chowmein, burger and french fries, bhelpuri, matar chaat, pastries and patties, cold drinks, cream roll and chips. The games stalls had hitting the glass, hunting fish, hooplah, finding the pins from the rice,putting coin inside the bucket,using toothpick to transfer bangles,guess the number of toffees.
At 12:30pm the lucky draw started and the results were as follows:-
- First prize-Arushi class I
- Second prize- Anika Bhandari,class VB
- Third prize- Jeevika Rawat,class VI B
There were 50 consolation prizes.
The students thoroughly enjoyed the DJ and the music and danced and jived to the music. The Diwali Mela ended at 1pm and students went back home with cherishing memories of the day.
